Sao Paulo, Brazil has the largest concentration of Japanese people outside of Japan, a surefire recipe for great new cuisine.


I went to Brazil for the first time this year and wow! what a spectacular country. 180 million people inhabiting a geography that goes from Amazon jungle to beaches to savannah. And, 1.5 million in Sao Paulo of Japanese descent. There's much more than samba and sand in Brazil, there's sushi! Read more about the Japanese Brazilians.
