This 1994 Ang Lee-directed film about an aging chef and the evolving lives of his three daughters engages both the heart and stomach.


The enjoyment of food involves both a little death and a little life and nothing represents this thinking more than the 1994 film "Eat Drink Man Woman," helmed by "Brokeback Mountain" director Ang Lee. Following the travails of retired Chef Chu and the three maturing daughters who live with him, we are invited to experience the full banquet of life as they navigate the changes around them.
