This Spicy Indian Cauliflower recipe gives this oft-maligned veg its due respect. The key to cauliflower is a full use of spices otherwise, it has little taste.

My spicy Indian Cauliflower recipe will help show this powerhouse veggie in its best light!

Grown in Asia Minor for centuries before migrating to Europe in the 16th Century, cauliflower is chockfull of nutrients. This vegetable contains vitamin C, an antioxidant, which keeps your immune system strong as well as making your blood work more efficiently. Just three florets of cauliflower will provide up to 70 per cent of your daily vitamin C requirement.

More importantly, it also has folate, essential for tissue growth and a soldier in the fight against cancer and heart disease. Cauliflower also contains potassium, calcium and magnesium. It's a Superstar!

This spicy Indian dish is relatively easy to make and if you're a half-decent cook, you'll have the ingredients at hand. You could accompany this dish with Soy Sauce Chicken, Spicy Braised Beef or Baked Fish and some fragrant basmati rice. And, brush up on your stir fry skills.

Did you seriously add 2 Tsp of Chilli powder?? I added 1/4th of that and it was still sufficiently spicy.
